No cable in my house either. Radio listening can have its own type of drama - depending on the announcers. I've always been an american league fan, but could never stand Texas, and those damn Yankees have their own deplorable status in my book - steinbrenner thought money could buy him, and his team, love. sorry, not in my baseball lovin' book. The 8 - 0 pouncing in NY last night brought a smile. Given the choices, I'm more interested this year in the national league playoffs and glad to see the giants get this far. I was rooting for the Phillies while the regular season was winding down - I could easily support either NL team (Giants or Phillies) against their imminent AL foe tbd. Baseball can be such a subjective phenomenon.
